EDC Advocates Wish List
The EDC warmly welcomes all of you who care about eating disorders from across the United States to attend our September Lobby Day to advocate for the Federal Response to Eliminate Eating Disorders Act (the FREED Act). Advocates from the states below are in particular high demand as you may be able to convince your Representative to support this bill. We need your voice!

Arizona

Rep. Shadegg's district includes: central and north Phoenix, Paradise Valley; Carefree, Cave Creek, and Anthem. The 3rd District is bounded approximately by Scottsdale Road on the east, Thomas Road in east Phoenix on the south, Bethany Home Road in central Phoenix on the south, 43rd Avenue on the west (67th Avenue on the west, north of Pinnacle Peak Road) and extends north to the Maricopa/Yavapai County line.
Raul Grijalva, AZ
Rep. Grijalva’s district includes: the central, south and west sides of the city of Tucson and extends south to the Mexican border encompassing Nogales, AZ, then west to the Arizona/California border to include all of Yuma County. The district line then follows the Colorado River north to the communities of Parker and Parker Strip within La Paz County, and finally stretches east to Maricopa County’s West Valley. District 7 is also home to 7 sovereign nations: the Ak-Chin, Cocopah, Colorado River Indian Tribes, Gila River, Pascua Yaqui, Quechan, and Tohono O'odham.
