Accomodation Information

Hotels are quite expensive this time of year, while we do not specificially endorse any of the suggestions below – these are some options that are lower cost to pursue:

Holiday Inn Washington-Georgetown

This is a standard hotel but you can fit four to a room and the current rate on Kayak.com is $200. Its in a safe neighborhood with restaurants near Georgetown University, however it is not near Capitol Hill where all of the events will be. A cab will cost about 15-20 dollars and will take 20 minutes.

State Street Plaza - Foggy Bottom
This is another standard hotel that can fit four to a room and the current rate on Kayak.com Is $250. Its near George Washington University and is a nice safe neighborhood with some restaurants near by. A cab will cost about 10-12 dollars and take about 15 minutes.

www.airbnb.com

A community website that is widely used that allows you to rent out apartments and private rooms in apartments throughout the country. Make sure to use your best judgement in booking as only you know what you will feel most comfortable with. The site does provide user reviews and all guarantees.
