The EDC, in cooperation with Rep. Patrick Kennedy (D-RI), held a Congressional Briefing on April 2 as part of its Lobby Days activities, on The FREED ACT (Federal Response to Eliminate Eating Disorders). FREED is a comprehensive eating disorders bill that will address research, treatment, and prevention services. Speakers included Jillian Croll, Ph.D., RD/LD, MPH, Ted Weltzin, M.D., Lisa Lilenfeld, Ph.D., and Johanna Kandel.
